Umbrella Care

We recommend long stick umbrellas due to their superior quality and durability compared to collapsable umbrellas, which have many moving parts and are prone to mechanical failure in elevated wind conditions. 

• To open your umbrella, gently lift the ribs to expand the frame, always pointing the umbrella down rather than up.
• After use, leave the umbrella open to dry thoroughly, as any excess moisture may damage the fabric and frame.
• To close, simply roll the umbrella by holding the handle and tips in one hand, while gently pulling each panel of the canopy free from the frame. Then, while holding the tips and the handle, roll the panels around from the top towards the tips in a clockwise motion. 

Rolling the canopy neatly will prolong the life and appearance of your umbrella.
